This short film is a bout a teenage girl who experiences supernatural events whilst suffering from the losses of her family members. Every day the girl, Alice wakes up and finds a family member missing form her family photo in which she keeps on her wall. However, there is speculation whether she is suffering from mental illness and can't separate reality and imagination. Or it is her father suffering from PTSD from being a war photographer and taking his crippling anxiety and fear out on the family.
CHARACTERS
CHARACTERS
Alice
Alice is our main protagonist in which we focus on throughout the Short Film. This character comes across fragile, delicate, caring young girl. She has grown to be an emotionally sand strong individual who’s life has been reckoned with. The role of the character is that the audience are able to place themselves in her shoes, and relate to actions she has done. She is an average girl who has been affected by abnormal circumstances. The characters appearance is an average looking girl, this will be enticing for the audience as they are able to relate to her. We aiming to show the similarities between the two girl as well as to carry forward a confidence actress to perform her role.
Emily
Emily is Alice’s sister, she is only seen in a couple scenes and is a quite yet loved young girl. She has always been the spotlight child, leaving Alice in the background being overshadowed. When she disappears, there is a sinister tone shown in the scene e.g. Emily being a black silhouette within the darkness. Emily has the spotlight from an early age as she has been the smarter and more successful child, consistently getting A’s in all of her subjects. This has lead to an unspoken feud between the two of them.
Claire
Claire is the mother of the two young girls, Emily and Alice. She is a heart-warming mother, who is engrossed in exploring different books to read. She is always putting others before herself even if it results in a negative outcome for herself. She tries her hardest to improve the lives of her family by working overtime at her job in order to provide a happy and a finally stable upbringing. She is not featured in the Short Film much as she is working over time as a nurse. Even though she is not able to see her daughters as much, they still have an extremely close bond.
Gary
Gary is the father of the two teenagers and the husband to Claire. He has had a dark past of being a previous war photographer which have lead to his crippling anxiety and fear which may be taken out through his family. He is a strict authoritarian parent as well as a controlling husband. He is a strong independent man making things go through his own way. His actions and behaviour is portrayed through his haunted past creating PTSD on his later life.

ACTORS
Georgie Clements
Georgie is an actress from Thames Ditton, Surrey. Georgie went to the Arts Ed where she first started her love for acting. She starred in many smalls Short Films as well as Trailers gaining huge experience. After 3 years at Arts Ed, she launched into Radio Word in BBC as well as acting as extras in when working along side a Production Company. Previously Georgie starred in a film opening, Fractures which was released in many film festivals.
